I can't tell you how much stuff the folks at Spartacus Leathers left me. Think of it this way: pretend you have a $2000 gift certificate for their products, go visit their web site, and go shopping. Then, you might have an idea of all the goodies in the collection they dropped off.

In the collection are several ball gags. Lydia balked at the first one we pulled out of the box -- it was too big for her mouth. We settled on a more simple, straightforward model.

I like that the ball is hot red. We break out a new collar, new nipple clamps, and some wrist restraints. The blindfold completes the ensemble.

I still think of myself as a B&W photographer. But I've got to admit that I like the color images, above; I especially like the little splash of red inside Lydia's mouth.

Lydia isn't exactly nude, is she? I do find these images to be mildly erotic. Like the clarity of Lydia's skin, the muscles in her shoulders, and how the structure of her shoulders stands out from the background. Makes me wonder what it would be like to slide my fingertips all over her skin.

I'm not sure how I feel about this image. Technically, it is very good: it features Lydia's perfect breasts & skin, and good lighting & composition, and I especially like how the chain is lit & how it stands out against the background shadow on Lydia's abdomen. But I don't know how I feel about nipple clamps. As nipple clamps go, these are more humane -- the pressure is adjustable with those little screws. But I'm not big on the "pain inflicting" style of fetish photography. I prefer "erotic submission" themes.

But Lydia takes to it well.

What do you think of this image? It is from a perspective that I don't usually use -- I'm not sure I like it.

The two images below are film-based -- I decided to ramp up the contrast. These two images have a unique feel that is somewhat appropriate for the subject matter.

Fetish photography is like music -- there are lots of genres, and I don't particularly care for all of them. To me, the best fetish photograph is all about seductive submission, and I think I'm finding that difficult to do with only one model. Something to think about.
