Okay, I'm liking working with the studio lights & the textures. We push the furniture totally out of the way, spread the velour blanket on the floor, and make some pictures there. I switch to my mild wide angle lens, thinking to use the slightly distorted perspective by stretching a body part towards the lens. But first, we do some sitting photographs. |

Assessment: When I set this situation up, I did reposition the big soft box, but I didn't lower the highlight light that was off the right side of the image, thus the contribution of that light was reduced. You can still see it, but I could have increased the light & improved these images. I like the slight distortion created by the wide angle lens -- you can see it best with these last few pictures, where Madison's legs look very long. I also like the images that include the foreground a big, again something that the wide angle lens allows. Final Assessment: I enjoyed working with Madison, although we didn't try anything too ambitious. But these images do include something rare for me -- I've included images with the model's feet, and I have to admit that I like them, especially the ones on this page where her hands & feet are crossed in front. Madison was eager to please & fun to work with -- I suspect that we'll work together again soon. Responses To Visitor Feedback: I really enjoy hearing from visitors to this web site -- after all, this site is free & unsponsored, and one of the major reasons I go through all this bother is to get feedback on my efforts. I appreciate it when you take the time to send me your feedback. After my last posting, where I included some questions for visitors, I did get a lot of suggestions, and I thought I would respond to some of the common themes:
