In case it
isn't clear, the shower is separate from the steam room.
On the left side of the image, you can see the door to the
steam room. That's where I placed the lights on a
light stand while Natalia was playing in the steam room.
Where Natalia is standing is the business end of the shower
-- you can see two of the three body sprays and the hose
to the main showerhead; above Natalia's head is a big honkin'
waterfall showerhead. Off image, to the right of my
position is the entrance to the shower, and to my left is
the steam room window. There -- you are orientated.
The light
comes from strobes bouncing off the wall just outside the
shower.
Okay,
my shelves are busy, but I figure that I'm not going to
be photographing that wall. I'm just including this
image so that you can figure out how all of this is configured.

This is more
like what I had in mind for these pictures out here in the
shower. I'm purposely playing up all the wide angle
distortion I can. And yes, I'm mixing color &
B&W images on this page.
Natalia
is cold -- she's wet, but the water isn't flowing.
The bathroom is warm, but in comparison with the steam room,
it's always cooler out here. We'll be turning on the
hot water from the big honkin' waterfall showerhead soon.

That big honkin'
waterfall showerhead pumps a huge volume of water, more
thant the 3 body sprays & the regular showerhead combined,
but with the strobe, it freeze the movement of the water,
and thus it becomes barely visible. So, I give up
for now (I'm worn out). I'll revisit the concept later.
I'll have to figure a way to light that scene with ambient
lighting so that I can use longer shutter speeds.
In the
meantime, a few more snaps.

Here's a couple "behind
the scenes" images. I'm enjoying these kinds
of images.
