I moved the camera closer to the main light, which almost floods Justine's figure from this angle.  The secondary light provides the highlight along Justine's right side.  A low light with a snoot (a short metal tube attached to the strobe light's reflector) puts a spot on the brick wall behind Justine.

You can see how critical the placement of the secondary light is in these two pictures.  In the first one, I love the highlight on the right side of her right breast -- that highlight starts somewhere around her underarm and ends somewhere in the middle of her ribs, but that highlight is gone from her hip, and I don't like that.  The purpose of the highlight is to separate her form from the background, and without that highlight on her hip, you can't see the shape of her hip.  In the second picture (on the right), Justine cocks her hip in the other direction, and it is highlighted, but I don't like the highlight on her breast as much.

I can't exactly tell, but either I moved the camera back a bit or I switched to my wide angle lens (I think the latter).  My favorite highlight on her breast & ribs has returned, I like the sense of space around her, and her waist looks great here.

I like the curlicue of hair at the base of her back.

I have to admit that there is a strong erotic element to these bondage photographs for me.  I feel empowered, and I can imagine running my hands all over the "victim's" body.  Go ahead:  she won't stop you and she won't mind.  

There's always a short break when I have to change rolls of film in the camera, and during one, Justine simply squatted on the floor at the base of the pillar.  Sometimes, that's all it takes to inspire some images.  To keep her off the floor, I gave her that short bench to get us going. 

To be honest, Justine's hair got in the way a bit -- with that bun in place, she couldn't hold her head straight up against the post.  But I don't mind much.

There's a haunting quality to her eyes in this image.

What a difference a few inches make.  I asked Justine to cover her breasts, and my original thought was the image on the left (I like the image of the underside of a woman's breast), but Justine gave me the image on the right.  Which do you prefer?

There are some people who act sexy, and then there are people, like Justine, who are naturally sexy.  Someday, if I get brave enough, Justine & I may attempt to create some more erotic images.

Assessment:  Justine is still fun to work with.  She is courageous in her posing and has few limits.  For a quick sitting, we did well.  I like the tonal qualities of these images (I struggled with technical difficulties last year), and I'm glad to see that these problems are now under control.  However, these basement images are beginning to all look alike -- I'll need to figure out some new variations.
