This is Melissa -- she's a prolific, enthusiastic, well-known traveling model.

This was the first time I've met her.  My conclusion:

Melissa is a root beer float!  She's sweet & creamy & a little bubbly; she is a taste that is both exotic & familiar.

The very first thing that struck me:  Melissa is always either smiling or laughing.

I really love these "Getting Started" setups, where I photograph the model in her street clothes and continue to photograph her as she removes them.

A few models think it's an odd concept.  Most models tend to feel neutral about the idea.  Some models, like Melissa, are positively enthusiastic about it.

Melissa's playfulness is a large part of her appeal (along with her great figure & looks, of course).

Melissa does "saucy" well.

Okay -- this is almost inappropriate:

I've never played strip poker.  Or rather, no one has ever played with me, probably because no one wants to see me naked.

But I get a little thrill when we get to this point in these "Getting Started" setups.

One of the joys about working with experienced fine art models is being around women with confidence.

That was fun for me, and it was especially fun for Melissa.

It's a bit of a challenge for me to work here in my home for nearly all of my photography sessions.  At the time of these session, I had completed a run of sessions, and to keep things fresh, and look for a new location for the next setup.  After discussions with Melissa, we come up with a new-ish idea.  Go see, at...
